Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Diceman a.k.a. Mr. Snakeyes is an independent hip-hop artist/producer/engineer/graphic designer. Diceman started Lucky Roll Records back in 2004 and co-founded Xcalibur Music a production company with fellow artist the late Fizzol in 2011. Diceman draws inspiration from some of the greatest hip-hop artists in the industry such as LL Cool J, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Redman, etc. Diceman is a well-rounded artist who utilizes a mixture of metaphors, punch lines, and catchy phrases along with unique beats produced by various production companies.
Diceman has performed in the city of Detroit, MI, Albuquerque NM, and in Canada. Diceman has opened for some well-respected artists including Obie Trice, Brotha Lynch Hung, Mr. Serv-On, and Rappin’ 4 Tay with good feedback and results from his peers. Diceman has also appeared on tracks with other independent artists from Detroit, MI, Albuquerque, NM, Canada, and Germany. Diceman has worked hard to perfect the art form he loved listening to as a kid.
In 2011, Diceman was nominated for two New Mexico Hip Hop Awards (Upcoming Producer & Upcoming Male Artist of the Year). Diceman’s hard work was finally recognized by winning the Upcoming Male Artist of the Year award against 19 other nominees.
Diceman has released 8 solo albums, 1 compilation album, 2 mixtapes/compilation albums and collaborated on various albums and mixtapes.
